BBOXX Wins Technology Commercialisation Award at CleanEquity® Monaco 2018 Hosted by Innovator Capital
LONDON, March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CleanEquity® Monaco 2018, the forum for emerging sustainable technology companies, hosted by Innovator Capital and the Monaco Economic Board, closed on Friday, 9th March with the Awards Ceremony in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
An independent panel of judges, chaired by His Serene Highness, selected BBOXX as winner of the award for Excellence in the Field of Environmental Technology Commercialisation.

BBOXX is a next generation utility making a big impact in the developing world with its smart solar systems, driven by a mission to provide energy to 20 million people by 2020. BBOXX recently launched Pulse - a cloud-based task management platform, which enables distributed businesses to improve efficiency and enhance customer service. BBOXX already operates in 35 countries, mainly in East Africa, with large operations in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and most recently Togo. BBOXX began its operations in Togo in 2017 after winning a government contract to roll out 300,000 off-grid solar home systems across the country - and recently this initiative received a significant boost following the completion of a pioneering debt finance deal worth US$4 million with local bank Union Togolaise de Banque (UTB).
