INDIA PROPOSES SWEET SUGAR BARTER WITH INDONESIA
The Indian sugar industry has floated plans for a barter trade with Indonesia involving locally-grown sugar products.
Prakash Naiknavare, managing director of National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factories, suggested that Indonesia could pay for the sugar with supplies of edible oil.
