Second Day of SAE International WCX World Congress Experience Features Keynote Speech by Bob Lutz

Highlighting the second day of SAE International's WCX World Congress Experience featured a keynote speech by Bob Lutz, former chairman of General Motors. Lutz offered a "Look at the Automotive Industry's Future" to a packed ballroom in Cobo Center in Detroit.

Lutz offered a "Look at the Automotive Industry's Future" to a packed ballroom in Cobo Center in Detroit.

Among other things, Lutz talked about autonomous vehicles, including high-performance mapping systems.

The WCX Leadership Summit featured sessions on shared mobility; while the WCX Tech Hub included presentations on electric vehicles, hybrid reality, autonomous vehicle interiors and the third wave of the Internet.

The Detroit Section held its annual Vehicle Event during which the General Motors Super Cruise Technology took center stage.
