Nearly 1,000 Students Vie for Top Honors at the California Science Center
What: A photo/interview opportunity with middle and high school students from across the state, on-hand to present their science projects for category recognition as well as compete for $60,000 in cash prizes. In addition to category awards, top honors will go to Student of the Year (senior division only), Project of the Year (in both junior and senior divisions) and Science Teacher of the Year (junior and senior divisions). Here is a sample of the many interesting projects submitted to this year's fair: - Blocking RFID - Readers Plastic Eating Worms for a Healthier Environment - Effectiveness of Wi-Fi Blocking Paint - Urban Runoff: Is 72 Hours Enough?
