NCP engineering Releases Exclusive Remote Access Client 11.1 and the Exclusive Remote Access Management Server 5.0 for Juniper Networks’ SRX Series

NCP engineering today announced the release of the Exclusive Remote Access Client 11.1 for secure virtual private network (VPN) connections and the release of the Exclusive Remote Access Management Server 5.0 for the central management of VPN endpoints. New features of the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Client 11.1 include biometric authentication, secure hotspot login, and a modernized graphical user interface (GUI). New features of the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Management Server 5.0 include an enhanced database access for bulk user logins, optimization of the Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) functionality, and support for Sophos MCS two-factor authentication (SMS).

Compatible with Juniper Networks’ VPN and SRX Series Firewalls, the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Client 11.1 and the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Management Server 5.0 provide encrypted access to enterprise networks and resources such as remote desktops, e-mail, and other business-critical applications.

“NCP’s Exclusive Remote Access Clients enable enterprises to maintain robust endpoint security and compliance by providing advanced authentication and establishing secure hotspot connections,” said Patrick Oliver Graf, CEO of NCP engineering. “Offering added value to users and IT administrators, NCP’s Exclusive Management Servers can manage a multitude of endpoint devices and mixed environments simultaneously. Additionally, IT administrators can monitor for anomalies and centrally manage issues as they arise, such as immediately revoking access in case of a breach.”

The NCP Exclusive Remote Access Client 11.1 provides enhanced security and more flexibility in both home office and corporate IT environments. For example, fingerprint recognition and face recognition offer extended protection against unauthorized third-party access to unlocked workstations and minimize the risk of security breaches.

The new NCP Exclusive Remote Access Management Server 5.0 provides a single console to administer remote access VPN clients and enables IT managers to automate processes such as certificate administration and deployment, compliance checks, updates, and de-activation across all endpoint devices. By integrating with third-party user management databases, the Exclusive Remote Access Management Server automatically synchronizes when changes are made.
