The Department of Defense Awards Booz Allen a Place on $495M IDIQ Contract to Conquer Tough Technical Challenges

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is responsible for providing full life-cycle support to naval aviation aircraft, weapons and systems deployed by sailors and marines on the front lines. To fulfill its mission in support of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) priorities, the NAVAIR 6.8 Corporate Business Office (CBO) has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) a spot on the Program and Systems Support (PASS) contract in April of 2017 – carrying a ceiling value of $495M. Under PASS, Booz Allen will compete with seven other awardees to drive DoD programs and systems forward throughout the five-year duration of this contract.

“We are honored to partner with NAVAIR to deliver full-spectrum technical expertise, insight, political awareness and technical direction, which will enable the DoD to fulfill current and emerging defense objectives globally,” said Dottie Simeona, a Booz Allen vice president. “Our customers are facing extreme pressures to become more integrated, interoperable, capable and mission ready for every dollar invested. PASS provides Booz Allen with an opportunity to deliver integrated solutions that will enable quantifiable outcomes.”

Booz Allen has a long history of supporting the U.S. Defense Department that spans more than 75 years when the firm won its first Navy contract in 1940. To learn more about Booz Allen’s Defense work, visit here.
