Wamba Technologies Receives 1 Million Dollars in Funding for eSports Platform

Wamba Technologies announced that they have received funding of just under $1 Million dollars from private investors. Wamba Technologies will utilize the funds to further development of their eSports platform and anticipates a beta release by the end of 2018.

PHOENIX, May 31, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wamba Technologies' up-and-coming eSports platform, being designed by veteran video game designer Andy Ashcraft (God Of War 2, God of War 3, Grand Turismo 4, and more), has received $1M in funding from Wamba Partners, LLC.

Wamba Technologies began developing their eSports platform in 2017 with a desire to offer gamers the ability to compete for cash in the games which they see featured on ESPN, Twitch, and more. What is unique about the platform they have been designing is that they have developed strong anti-cheating countermeasures which will allow beginners to compete against other beginners for large prize pools without worrying that a pro will come in posing as a beginner and take everybody's money.

Wamba Technologies' Founder and CEO Gary Denham said, "I think the biggest problem in the eSports industry today is getting the beginner and intermediate players involved in a manner where they have the same chance at making a six-digit income as a professional player. To date, that has not been accomplished. We aim to fix that. With more winners, the industry will grow and everyone wins in that scenario. When the world sees how we have accomplished this, they are going to groan at how simple the solution actually was."

Denham continued, "The majority of the video game industry is made up of casual players. These players want to compete and make money like they see happening on ESPN, but they know they have no chance. When word gets out that ANYBODY, regardless of skill level, can come on our site and compete and make the same kind of money they see on tv, its over. It's just over...and we become a significant player in this industry."

Wamba Technologies is anticipating a beta version of their platform to be complete by the end of 2018 and is presently wrapping up post-production on their first video game called Waffle Smash. Waffle Smash should be available on Google Play and iOS by August 1st, 2018.
