CL-WV Holdings, LLC and West Virginia University Research Corporation Receive Significant Patents for Producing High Value Carbon Materials
COLUMBIA, Md., June 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CL-WV Holdings, LLC (CLWV) has recently received several US and corresponding international patents under their Exclusive License Agreement with West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC). CLWV's patent portfolio includes technology to cleanly produce high value carbon forms, and hydrogen, from carbides, natural gas, methane, and other hydrocarbons.
CLWV is in discussions with several government and commercial organizations for collaborations to further develop their carbon manufacturing process, with a goal of producing new and better forms of carbon and with greater purity. Managing Director of CLWV, Rich Duafala stated, "There is a need for a less expensive, scalable process for producing highly pure carbon forms such as diamond, graphene, nanodots, nanotubes, wires and fibers, and CLWV is excited with the promise of our patented technology."
