The 7th Edition of ASEAN M&E Show Gathers Industry Key Players on the Show Floor
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- With the biggest ever ASEAN M&E SHOW just one week away, show organiser UBM Malaysia holds a press conference together with industry key stakeholders at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to announce the latest development of the coming show and to share the insights and new opportunities in the power, energy and HVACR industries.
The 7(th) edition of ASEAN M&E will be held from 17-19 July 2018 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. ASEAN M&E 2018 gathers on the show floor leading players from the Power, Energy, HVAC and Lift industry. ASEAN M&E will be held concurrently with REVAC (Southeast Asia's Premier Refrigeration, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Expo and Forum), TENAGA (Southeast Asia's Premier Power & Electrical Industry Expo & Forum), GREEN ENERGY (Southeast Asia's Premier Green Energy Expo & Forum), ASEAN SOLAR (Southeast Asia's Premier Solar Energy Expo & Forum) and ASEAN LIFT (Southeast Asia's Premier Lift & Escalators Technology Expo & Forum).
Mr Alun Jones, Country General Manager of UBM Malaysia said, "The total exhibition area increased by 15% and the total number of exhibitors by 38%, compared with that in 2016. The booming industry created opportunities and attracted the attention of companies in the region. ASEAN M&E has grown to become a prestigious platform in Southeast Asia and is currently the largest mechanical and electrical engineering trade event in Malaysia and in the ASEAN region, bringing together 460 exhibiting companies and an expected 15,000 attendees this year."
He attributed the success of event to the collaboration and partnership between ASEAN M&E with the industry key stakeholders including Institution of Engineers Malaysia represented by Ir. Raftah Mahfar, WiSET Chairman and ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter represented by Mr Ng Wen Bin, President Elect who were present in the press conference.
ASEAN M&E brings the community together, including manufacturers, contractors, engineers and those from the Electrical, HVACR and Mechanical industries under one roof, providing opportunities to build successful business relationships.
ASEAN M&E will be accompanied by over 40 free-to-attend seminar topics presented by industry experts. Besides that, there will be conferences and forums held concurrently with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), 2(nd) International Conference of Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WiSET), ASHRAE Conference and International Power Accessed Federation (IPAF) Asia Conference & Showcase.
