American Water’s Stanford Set To Participate at NCSL 2018 Legislative Summit

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, today announced Dr. Ben Stanford, senior director, water intelligence will speak at the 2018 National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) Legislative Summit being held from July 30 – August 2 in Los Angeles, CA.

On Wednesday, August 1st, Dr. Stanford will participate on a panel that will discuss the safety and quality of drinking water in the United States. He will discuss American Water’s efforts to provide safe, clean, reliable drinking water to our customers and the impact of emerging contaminants to an audience of state legislators and policy makers. The panel will also explore how states and the federal government work to protect the country’s drinking water.
