Badger Meter Appoints Bauer Investor Relations Executive

Badger Meter, Inc. (NYSE: BMI) today announced the appointment of Karen Bauer as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy.

Bauer will oversee the company's engagement with the investor community, interacting with analysts and institutional investors. In addition, she will lead the company’s strategic planning process, and serve as assistant treasurer. "Karen brings a wealth of experience with sell-side and buy-side equity analysts, deep knowledge of capital markets, and a strong network of relationships across the financial community," says Rick Johnson, SVP and Chief Financial Officer at Badger. "Her strong business acumen and financial & strategic analytical skills will be a great asset to the company."

Bauer joins Badger from Actuant Corporation, where she most recently served as head of investor relations and communications for the past 11 years. Previously, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Johnson Controls, Inc. with areas of emphasis including strategic planning, M&A and financial planning & analysis. She graduated with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin and began her career at PriceWaterhouse.
