RICHMOND, Calif., July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGMO) announced today that preliminary safety and efficacy data from the CHAMPIONS Study, a Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating SB-913 for the treatment of mucopolysaccharidosis Type II (MPS II, also known as Hunter syndrome), will be presented at the 2018 Annual Symposium of the Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (SSIEM) being held in Athens, Greece from September 4-7(th).

The abstract, "Novel treatment of MPS II (Hunter Syndrome) with SB-913 ZFN-mediated in vivo human genome editing: Update from a Phase 1/2 clinical trial," is scheduled for an oral presentation on September 5(th) during the Lysosomal Storage Disorders session beginning at 2:30pm local time (Eastern European Summer Time).
