InventHelp Inventor Develops Tool for Servicing Apache Helicopters (DPH-374)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "When installing the horizontal STAB, it is required that it is rigged correctly in order to give the pilots in the cockpit a correct readout on their multi-purpose display (MPD)," said an inventor from Aurora, Colo. "There is no tool that exists for this purpose, so I invented one."

He developed the TRANSDUCER PRO TOOL to simplify rigging the horizontal STAB on an Apache AH-64D helicopter. The tool allows adjustments to be made easily on the motion transducer. It easily fits into the small space between the horizontal STAB and the airframe itself. The device reduces risk while making adjustments. Additionally, the invention helps to save money and lessens labor hours.

The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
