InventHelp Inventor Develops Accessory for Motorists with Pets/Children (HUN-598)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I needed a way to keep my dogs from messing with the controls on the door that operate the power windows and locks," said an inventor from Houston, Texas. "I came up with this device so that pets cannot operate such controls and to keep the door protected."

She developed the CAR DOOR PET SHIELD to stop children and pets from operating the controls on the interior of the door. It thereby prevents windows from being rolled up or down without the driver's permission. The accessory also stops the doors from being locked and unlocked inadvertently. The unit safeguards the interior of the door and the control panel against scratches and other damages. It keeps the door and control panel in good condition. Additionally, the device is adaptable for use with new and existing vehicles.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
