Protein Metrics Creates Swiss Subsidiary to Meet Growing European Demand

SAN CARLOS, Calif., Aug. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Protein Metrics Inc., a leading provider of mass spectrometry software for protein characterization, announced today that is has created a wholly owned European subsidiary, Protein Metrics SA, and hired a protein mass spectrometry expert, Stephane Bahraoui, M.Sc., to meet growing demand for its products and services in Europe.

"Having a legal entity in Switzerland, managed by Dr. Pierre Allemand, VP of European Biopharma Relations, allows us to respond quickly to expanding European demand. As a result, we can now easily hire top protein scientists, such as Stephane, to support our rapidly growing user base."

Mr. Bahraoui joins Protein Metrics as a Customer Support Scientist from Waters Corporation, where he worked as a Field High Resolution Application Specialist and provided on-site customer training and support for multiple mass spectrometry platforms and associated software technologies.

He has more than 10 years of antibody analysis experience in the Academia, Biopharma, CRO, and mass spectrometry vendor environments, from sample prep, throughout the LC/MS data process. He worked as a Senior Research Assistant within the Analytical Lab of Novimmune in Switzerland, and he built glycans and protein characterization workflows for SGS M-Scan, a CRO located in Geneva.

Mr. Bahroui received his M.Sc. degree in Structural and Functional Biochemistry from the Universite Claude Bernard in Lyon, France, and received his B.Sc. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Grenoble University in France.
