Dealer Solutions North America Announces First U.S. Dealership Transaction

DETROIT, Aug. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dealer Solutions North America, specialists in advising on and providing strategies for buying and selling automotive dealerships, has announced its first dealership transaction since entering the U.S. market.

Dealer Solutions worked with seller Mike Tyler of Tyler Jefferson Motors in Mount Vernon, Ill. The family-owned business has a long history in the area, opening in 1951 with Pontiac, Rambler, and other classic automotive brands. Through three generations, the Tyler family continued to grow the dealership, until the time was right for the family to make a change.

The Toyota, Buick and GMC dealership was purchased by Wes Monken, of Monken Auto. The family-run group is located in the neighboring town of Centralia, Ill., and includes Nissan, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Chevrolet. The opportunity to bring in three new brands, and an additional location for customers, was the driving force behind the deal. This will be the third dealership for Monken Auto Group. The deal was completed earlier this summer.
