Evoqua Acquires IsH20Top Group, Expanding Its Canadian Market Reach

Evoqua Water Technologies Corp. (NYSE: AQUA) today announced it has acquired privately held IsH20Top (pronounced “isotope”) Group, a Quebec-based provider of high-purity water treatment equipment and systems, equipment maintenance services and service deionization. The acquisition strengthens Evoqua’s Canadian service capabilities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IsH20Top serves the ultrapure pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical, university, industrial and microelectronics markets in the Quebec region. It provides its customer base with a variety of solutions including reverse osmosis, deionized water systems and steam purification.

“It's with great enthusiasm that the IsH20Top team joins the Evoqua family. Our common customer service dedication is clearly a determining factor in the decision to join,” said Pierre Reznyak, President, IsH20Top Group. It will join Evoqua’s Light Industry Technologies division, which is a part of Evoqua’s Industrial Segment, and will extend the company’s service network.

“For 25 years, IsH20Top has been very successful by delivering excellent customer service and building a reputation as a trusted partner,” said Evoqua Chief Executive Officer Ron Keating. “We welcome IsH20Top to the Evoqua family and are excited by the opportunity to help them grow as part of Evoqua.”

Evoqua has a service and support network that is four times larger than its next largest competitor. As a result, a certified Evoqua Service Technician is no more than a two-hour drive from 90 percent of the company’s 25,000 industrial customers.
