Mercury Systems Receives $10.3M Order for Secure, Rugged Processing Subsystems

Mercury Systems, Inc announced it received a $10.3 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for secure, rugged, embedded processing subsystems to perform advanced sensor processing on a mobile platform. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2018 fourth quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

The Company’s BuiltSECURE™ technologies, advanced embedded cooling and ruggedization capabilities are ideally suited to the needs of SWaP-constrained processing applications that require the highest levels of built-in security, reliability and performance, even in the most hostile environments.

“This order underscores the trust we have earned by working closely with our major defense prime contractor customer to meet their stringent embedded processing requirements, which include system-wide security so the platform can go anywhere.” said Joe Plunkett, Mercury’s Senior Director and General Manager for Sensor Processing Solutions. “Our subsystems are made secure with BuiltSECURE technologies and are exceptionally rugged, giving our customer a competitive advantage as their solution is deployable into the harshest, most contested environments.”
