Intracom Telecom Announces FCC Compliant 39GHz Access and Backhaul Solutions for the US Market

Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced today the introduction of new Access and Backhaul product lines at the 39GHz band. The company displays the WiBAS(TM)-Connect 39GHz and OmniBAS(TM)-BX 39GHz FCC compliant Access and Backhaul Solutions at its stand number S.2024, in South hall, at Mobile World Congress Americas, 12-14 September 2018, in Los Angeles.
WiBAS(TM)-Connect, the flagship product of the company for ultra-broadband access, is adapted to operate at 39GHz spectrum, according to FCC regulations. The product uses 100MHz channels offering throughput reaching 1Gbps per subscriber, for rapid download and upload. Each base station radio is designed to serve up to 60 subscribers and is fully software upgradeable. The WiBAS(TM)-Connect platform includes features for massive subscriber provisioning and for automated subscriber authentication. The WiBAS(TM)-Connect at 39GHz borrows all the ground breaking technologies from the platform that is already operational worldwide at 10.5GHz, 26GHz and 28GHz, with subscribers enjoying services of 200Mbps download speed.
OmniBAS(TM)-BX is the newest member to the innovative portfolio of Point-to-Point packet-based transmission and access radios. Already available at 18GHz and with committed plan to introduce 13GHz and 38GHz in 2018, the company is extending the family of products with 39GHz and FCC compliant features, for use in the US market. OmniBAS(TM)-BX is an all outdoor radio, incorporating several innovative transmission and networking features. They are ready to host a full Layer-3 (IP/MPLS) and SDN protocol stacks, fitting the purpose of backhaul networks upgrade for 5G.
