CData Software Partners with Exago to Expand The Exago BI Platform with Enhanced Connectivity to SaaS, NoSQL & Big Data

NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CData Software (http://www.cdata.com), a leading provider of standards-based drivers and data access solutions for real-time data integration, welcomes new OEM program partner Exago BI, a solutions provider specializing in ad hoc reporting for SaaS applications.

Through the new partnership, announced at the Strata Data Conference in New York City (https://conferences.oreilly.com/strata), embedded CData Drivers now enable Exago's SaaS customers to save time and more easily display Exago data dashboards. Exago users can now access data using built-in connectivity -- instead of custom-developing data connectivity through an API.

Exago provides open data access and fully customizable CSS, facilitating seamless, 100 percent web-based dashboard embedding with no downloads or plugins required. Host applications can leverage Exago's open data access and fully customizable CSS to decide which BI elements to expose to which users, adding coded extensions to expand on Exago's out-of-the-box functionality. The software offers business users embedded reporting and dashboard design, complete with diagnostic analytics tools, such as drilldowns, conditional formatting and interactive filtering.

"Collaborating with CData has been a great experience and certainly in keeping with what we look for in a partner," said Exago VP Technology and Business Development Scott Epter. "We're excited to bring Exago clients robust data access through CData's standards-based drivers and eliminate the need for custom development."

"Exago's embedded BI solution enables SaaS applications to deliver powerful analytics to their customers in record time," said Eric Madariaga, Chief Marketing Officer, CData Software. "Combined with the straightforward data access capabilities of our drivers, SaaS vendors can deliver new data blending and enrichment to their customers across any internal or remote data source."

The embedded drivers deliver several key innovations, including:

-- Standards-Based Connectivity: Certified Exago compatibility with popular
SaaS, Big Data and NoSQL data sources, whether on-premise or in the
        cloud.
-- ANSI-92 SQL Support: Rich ANSI-92 SQL syntax supporting deeply nested
queries and an extensive set of SQL filters and formulas.
-- Collaborative Query Processing: The providers push complex queries to
the data source to leverage server-side processing, while seamlessly
        processing data client-side as needed.

"As Exago continues to add new clients across verticals, the breadth of data sources that clients are looking to expose continues to increase," said Exago Senior VP Operations Mark Selinger. "Our partnership with CData helps make Exago even more valuable to these clients by adding more instant, real-time data connectivity."

About Exago
Exago was founded in July, 2006 by Mike Brody and Stew Meyers, accomplished application software executives. Their experience with traditional reporting solutions left them, and more importantly, their clients, frustrated with the inability of end users to effectively use the ad hoc reporting tools available. This was the genesis of Exago BI, a 100 percent web-based business intelligence solution offering ad hoc reporting and self-service dashboards designed for seamless embedding and integration.
