AccuVein Inc. Announces OEM Agreement with Greiner Bio-One

LONG ISLAND, N.Y., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- AccuVein Inc., the global leader in vein visualization, today announced an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Greiner Bio-One, a leading medical technology company. Greiner Bio-One will be including the Greiner Bio-One AV400 vein scanner, (sold in the U.S. as the AccuVein AV400), in its product offering to all South American countries.

"Greiner Bio-One's goal is to help to safeguard human health and promote continued progress in medicine and vein visualization supports this commitment", said Mr. Haroldo F. Graci, General Manager. "Our experienced salesforce is eager to bring vein visualization to the South American market."

Vein visualization provides a map of the patient's vasculature on the skin's surface in order to improve vein access and avoidance. It has been shown to improve first stick success in venipuncture procedures by a striking 350%, reduce pain by up to 59% and reduce procedure time by 78%. The Infusion Nurses Society (INS) has enhanced and updated its Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, to include the recommendation of vascular visualization as a standard practice.

"Greiner Bio-One is a well-respected organization known for manufacturing high-quality safety and blood collecting products," said Jeff Schou, V.P. of International Business Development. "We are delighted to be joining forces as we help improve patient care in South America."
