Vuzix Blade® AR Smart Glasses to be Showcased at The Luxury Technology Show 2018 in NYC
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of Smart Glasses, Augmented Reality (AR) technology and products for the consumer and enterprise markets, is pleased to announce that the Company will be showcasing the Vuzix Blade(®) at The Luxury Technology Show 2018 on October 3, 2018 at the Metropolitan West beginning at 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) in New York, NY.
The Luxury Technology Show features the latest innovations from some of the most prestigious and cutting-edge technology brands from around the world. This unique expose gathers press & media, industry executives, buyers, dealers along with affluent consumers interested in acquiring the world's finest innovations. At the event, Vuzix will be demonstrating the Vuzix Blade to attendees and showing some of its amazing new interactive content and experiences. We will also be presenting the Vuzix Blade Companion App for managing notifications alerts and many other capabilities between an iOS or Android smart phone and the Blade.
The Vuzix Blade is currently shipping to Vuzix Edge developer customers and strategic accounts in the US, Canada and Europe and select key accounts in Asia. Manufacturing of the Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses are now moving to volume production and shipments to our customers have been growing through September. The Company is currently working through a sizeable volume of back orders.
