InventHelp Inventor Develops Automotive Seatbelt Enforcement System (OCM-1229)

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Downey, Calif., has developed the AUTO SEATBELT INDICATOR, an automotive safety feature designed to clearly indicate if a driver and passengers are wearing their seat belts. This system serves as verification or confirmation that travelers are buckled up for safety.

"I developed my invention to help law enforcement target motorists not obeying state laws, as well as to keep the motoring population safe," said the inventor. The AUTO SEATBELT INDICATOR strongly encourages motorists to regularly buckle their seat belts for maximum driving safety. It ensures motorists are obeying state law. This system will assist police with pinpointing offenders to be warned or ticketed. This may, in turn, increase revenues for local and state governments.

Additionally, this system includes a feature to keep drivers from texting on their cellular telephones. This allows motorists to better concentrate on the road and may prevent senseless accidents from occurring.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
