Cape to Demo Aerial Intelligence at Texas Public Safety UAS Summit

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 09, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cape, the leading cloud platform for drone telepresence and data management, today announced it will be joining first responders at the inaugural Texas Public Safety UAS Summit Oct. 10-11 in Burnet, Texas to demo its Aerial Telepresence software.

Hosted by the Texas Technology Consortium, the first annual Public Safety UAS Summit will take place at Reveille Peak Ranch, a first-of-its-kind and the only NIST-certified UAV training course in Texas. The two-day event will focus on emerging technologies and innovations that showcase the capabilities of UAVs, helping public safety agencies increase situational awareness, and keep their teams and communities safe. Cape will conduct a live demo of its Aerial Telepresence platform live from Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas on Wednesday, Oct.10 at 9am CDT, highlighting the benefits of real-time aerial visualization and data for improved safety and incident response.

"We are eager to highlight the unique and critical power of real-time aerial intelligence and the impact it can have on both operations and safety for public safety agencies," said Chris Rittler, CEO of Cape. "When dealing with potentially dangerous scenarios, total situational awareness is paramount for keeping both first responders and the surrounding community safe. We're looking forward to showcasing the impact of drone integration and capabilities at the summit."

"Public safety agencies and first responders require tools and technology solutions that not only help catch criminals but enhance the safety of our teams, community residents and visitors," said Roxana Kennedy, Chief of the Chula Vista Police Department. "In working with Cape, we have seen first-hand the impact of drone integration and its ability to drive major operational efficiencies, and more importantly, keep both our team and our local community safe. This technology is a game-changer for public safety agencies and something that every city should be putting at the top of their priority list."
