The Irrigation Association Announces Return of Bringing Water to Life Podcast

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Irrigation Association is excited to announce the return of the Bringing Water to Life podcast on Oct. 22. While the name remains the same, many changes are ahead for the revamped podcast.

Hosted by IA Government and Public Affairs Director John Farner, the podcast will take a new direction in focusing more on issues relating directly to agricultural, landscape and turf irrigation. Co-hosts of the podcast will now be Irrigation & Green Industry magazine's Editor-in-Chief Kristin Smith-Ely and Irrigation Today's Editor-in-Chief Anne Blankenbiller. The podcast will continue to feature other contributors, such as IA Industry Development Director Brent Mecham, CID, CLWM, CIC, CLIA, CAIS.

"I'm excited to get back on the air after a brief hiatus," Farner said. "The Bringing Water to Life podcast is a great way for us to reach IA members, subscribers of Irrigation & Green Industry and Irrigation Today magazines, as well as anyone interested in learning more about irrigation. I hope the new format will be as successful as our first series."

The podcast will be recorded twice a month and will be released on various podcast delivery channels, such as iTunes, Google Play, iHeartRadio and Spotify, among others. Each episode will be approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
