The Vision Group of Companies Announces the Launch of Vision Coatings Limited
WOODBRIDGE, Ontario, Nov. 05, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Vision Group of Companies (Vision Group) announced today the official launch of a new division within its expanding family of companies, called Vision Coatings Limited (Vision Coatings). The new entity, which is an offshoot of Sunview Patio Doors (Sunview), will provide high-volume finishing services for extrusion companies, window fabricators, and others in the industry.
Demand for colour and finishing options in fenestration markets has escalated in recent years. However, many manufacturers struggle to deliver coated components on time and with consistent quality. Over the years, Sunview has offered these services externally on an "as available" basis. However, with the continually growing demand, the Vision Group decided to establish a separate organization focused on finishing as a service in the largest dedicated coating facility in the country.
Located in the heart of Vaughan's business park, in the Greater Toronto Area, Vision Coatings is strategically situated among the Vision Group's other Ontario-based subsidiaries and just minutes from major highways allowing shorter lead-times and faster delivery. The company operates in a brand new 50,000 sq. ft. facility with a proven high-volume workflow; a 2,000 sq. ft. custom-designed spray booth enclosure to handle virtually any colour or size requirement; and a robust materials handling system. The facility also features its UV ToughCoat technology, a state-of-the-art, automated coating system that is AAMA 615 certified and offers high-volume production, superior heat-resistance, extreme durability, and a broad spectrum of colour choices.
