StructionSite Announces New Feature and Product: Mobile VideoWalk(TM), and SmartTrack(TM)
AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StructionSite, Inc, a provider of reality capture documentation for the construction industry, is announcing mobile VideoWalk(TM), as well as a closed beta for a new product for automated production tracking - SmartTrack(TM) (patent pending).
VideoWalk(TM) on mobile
Our update to VideoWalk enables a completely mobile experience, meaning you can capture the site 5x faster compared to static 360 photos by taking video! Just attach the camera to a monopod or a hard hat, then input your start and stop position in StructionSite for your walk. StructionSite's patent-pending computer vision and machine learning algorithms do the rest! A 100% mobile workflow means users don't need to waste time going back to the office to upload on a laptop or desktop.
This new feature allows for quick, frequent site capture for measuring production, change order management, schedule tracking, subcontractor coordination and more. Easily integrated into Procore, you are able to create new RFI's or Observations right from from directly within any of the 360 images extracted from the video. The seamless mobile workflow is currently available with the Garmin VIRB camera, but several other cameras are coming soon. This integration is available on the Procore App Marketplace.
SmartTrack(TM) - Production Tracking Closed Beta
StructionSite is excited to announce our beta release for SmartTrack(TM) (patent pending), a new product which will operate on top of the StructionSite platform. By applying artificial intelligence to 360 image data, the new SmartTrack(TM) (patent pending) product can calculate percentages of completion, velocity, and schedule risk for easily visible scopes of work. The captured data then can be mapped into an analytics platform such as Power BI and relayed to the team in the field regarding production status.
