‘Radnor Recycles’ Event Collects More than 53,000 Pounds of E-Waste

ERI, the largest fully integrated IT and electronics asset disposition provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company in the United States, announced today that more than 53,740 pounds of electronic waste were gathered at a recent ‘Radnor Recycles” e-waste collection event staged by the Radnor Township and E-Force Compliance.

Radnor residents and businesses came out in full force last month for the October 20th event, which provided locals with a chance to declutter and be environmentally responsible at the same time. The township hosted its "Anything With a Plug" recycling and paper-shredding event at the Radnor Township building in Wayne.

Radnor Township residents and township businesses with 50 employees or fewer were invited to unload their unwanted electronics for responsible recycling. All e-waste items were responsibly collected by E-Force and are now being processed by E-Stewards-certified recyclers.

“This event exceeded our expectations,” said Ted Miller, Director of Demanufacturing Operations for E-Force Compliance. “There was a steady stream of activity throughout the event and it was truly gratifying to be offering such a useful event to locals here in Radnor while also doing the right thing for the environment.”

“We are extremely proud to have partnered with our friends at E-Force Compliance and Radnor Township,” said Kevin Dillon, Co-Founder, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Sales Officer of ERI. “This event is a great example of a successful partnership with local collectors and recyclers. By working together, we succeeded in getting the word out about the importance of responsibly recycling electronics while helping provide the people and businesses of Radnor with a way to keep their unwanted electronics out of landfills. We look forward to conducting similarly successful events for years to come!”
