Questionmark Founder, John Kleeman, Appointed to Board of Directors for the Association of Test Publishers

Questionmark, global provider of assessment technologies, today announced that John Kleeman, Questionmark Founder and Executive Director, has been elected to the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) Board of Directors. John will serve a two-year term of office for the leading international non-profit organization representing providers of tests and assessment tools and/or services related to assessment, selection, screening, certification, licensing, educational or clinical uses.

“John has been an integral part of technical standards and best practices teams his expertise in the area of privacy has been highly valued. We look forward to his leadership as a member of the ATP Board of Directors,” said ATP CEO, William G. Harris, Ph.D.

John Kleeman brings an international perspective to the assessment industry and has substantial experience with testing and testing-related standards. He will assist the ATP in its international growth strategies and mission to promote and develop testing and assessment best practices and to facilitate an environment that will benefit test-takers, businesses, educational institutions and organizations in general.

“The ATP have a fantastic track record in educating on and arguing for the value of high-quality tests and exams. Questionmark are long term supporters of the ATP, and I’m excited to have been elected to their board and looking forward to help them expand their mission,” said John Kleeman.

Questionmark is a longstanding supporting member of the ATP’s international network and has been instrumental in the formation of Europe-ATP (EATP) in 2006 and India-ATP (IATP) in 2010. Additionally, to support the advancement of the integrity of assessment services and products and their value to a global society, John has worked on developing several assessment standards on which he coordinated with the ATP and other US participants and has helped review the recent ATP compliance guide on the GDPR, as well as contributing content to the Guide. John has been heavily involved in assessment software development for 30 years and has also participated in several standards initiatives including IMS QTI, ISO 23988 and ISO 10667.
