DynCorp International Awarded AFCAP IV WRM Task Order

On November 2, the U.S. Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) awarded DynCorp International (DI) a task order for War Reserve Materiel (WRM) maintenance and logistical operations under the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) IV. The work involves storage, maintenance, deployment and reconstitution of WRM assets prepositioned at Andersen AFB, Guam and Camp Aguinaldo, Philippines on behalf of the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). The total value of this task order is $4.8 million and the period of performance is November 13, 2018 through September 12, 2021.

These assets are Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) and Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (RADR) equipment that can support a deployed force in an austere environment. They include tents and shelters, mobile kitchens, shower and latrine units, power generators, water purification and distribution equipment, environmental control units, vehicles and construction equipment, and runway repair equipment.

“We are pleased we picked up another task order under AFCAP IV and are happy to expand our support to the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific theater,” said Randy Bockenstedt, president of DynLogistics.

This work in the Pacific is similar to DI’s WRM program on behalf of U.S. Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT), which DI has operated for over 18 years in multiple Middle Eastern countries.

“We were able to tap the knowledge of fellow DI employees on our long-standing WRM project to prepare an approach that meets PACAF’s mission needs,” said Jim Morrison, capture manager.
