EC Infosystems Announces Internal Promotions and New Hires in 2018’s Last Quarter

EC Infosystems, a leader in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing/Customer Information Solutions (CIS) for companies in the deregulated energy industry, has announced internal promotions as well as several new hires heading into the final stretch of the 2018 fiscal year.

Previously serving as Director of Information Systems, Nirav Shah was promoted to Vice President of Information Systems. Shah has been an integral part of the team for the last 13 years, and in his new role, he will look after EC Infosystems’ products and strategic direction and continue to maintain EC Infosystems’ solid track record of stellar security and infrastructure.

A new addition to the EC Infosystems’ team, Kevin Laguardia was named Director of Operational Excellence, overseeing all of the company’s EDI and UtiliBill Billing/CIS operations, customer service, and client migration services.

In addition to Shah and Laguardia, Aileen Currier also joins the EC Infosystems’ team as Director of Market Strategy. Formerly part of the company’s sister technology start-up, Jasmine Universe, Currier is responsible for leading the company’s overall market development initiatives.

Both Laguardia and Currier boast decades of experience in the deregulated energy sector. Prior to Jasmine Universe, Currier worked in DNV GL’s competitive energy sector as well as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Laguardia is a deregulated energy-industry veteran with over 25 years of experience with companies like PSE&G, Hess Corporation, and several retail energy suppliers.
