Kendra Black Set To Release EDM, Pop-Infused Album "The Fire" - Available February 1

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- New York City artist Kendra Black's new rhythmic album is set to release early next year. The EDM, pop-infused project is not the first for the singer. Kendra has been creating music for years now. Her unique approach to both writing, producing and performing vocals has put her at an advantage. Not quite EDM but more than a pop album, Kendra Black is creating her own lane in music with her latest work "The Fire".

Recorded at Lounge Studios in NYC, the lead single, "This Love" takes listeners on a journey of unbreakable love. The single is uplifting, and through its sweet lyrics, it delivers a strong message about the staying power of true love.

With pop music at its core, "The Fire" takes listeners on a journey of love. But not just the happy times, Tracks like "Mind Games" and "Medicated" deal with more difficult aspects. "Storm" and "Set Me Free" give listeners a nice dose of EDM while "Skin and Bones" reveals a more vulnerable side of the singer. A departure from her pop/R&B sound, "The Fire" is an EP you do not want to pass up.

Kendra released her album "The Edge" in late 2017. Composed of primarily pop music, Kendra was honored to work with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg on the album's single "Rude". You can listen to the single on Soundcloud.

In April 2018 Kendra won an award for Best Contemporary Pop Act in Virginia at the Richmond International Music and Film Festival while on her 'Dangerless' Spring Tour.

"The Fire" is set for release on February 1, around which you'll get a chance to see Kendra perform the tracks live in NYC! The show date will soon be announced online on her website www.kendrablackmusic.com and social media. Stay tuned on the latest details on the release of the album by following Kendra on Instagram.
