BACnet International and Zhijiang College Sign Cooperation Agreement

ATLANTA, Jan. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BACnet International and Zhijiang College, Zhejiang University of Technology, signed a cooperation agreement during the BACnet Interest Group - China/Asia's BACnet Golden Week. The agreement, signed on November 12, 2018 in Shaoxing, China, provides a way for Zhijiang College to fulfill its desire of providing education relating to the BACnet protocol in the region.

Lin Peng Li, Dean of Zhijiang College, and Andy McMillan, president of BACnet International, signed the agreement which details the creation of a lab at the university providing students with the training ground to expand their knowledge of BACnet which will ultimately progress the protocol's adoption. In support of the agreement, Delta Electronics will be donating equipment to the lab to create a true hands-on experience for the students.

This will only strengthen the industry and provide the opportunity for more building owners and operators to benefit from BACnet."

Timing of the lab opening is currently being finalized.
