ISG Green Bay Expands into Iconic Downtown WaterMark Building

ISG, a leading design firm with clients nationwide, recently expanded to a new location in the iconic, downtown WaterMark building overlooking the Fox River (Wisconsin). Through ISG’s in-house design team, the approximate 15,000 square foot firm-designed office space, which is east from its previous office park location, was strategically located to pay tribute to local history, City evolution, and breathtaking views that showcase the heart of Green Bay.

Upon entering the space, eyes are immediately drawn to the colorful play of materials and surfaces. With the Fox River providing a dramatic backdrop, it is apparent that each area within the space is designed to inspire and invoke creativity. From the rough, exposed concrete structures and mechanical systems to the soft, vibrant flooring accents and decorative acoustical clouds, the space continually transforms as one progresses through the environment.

“The open office design and expansive windows connect interior work spaces to exterior elements of the Fox River and City Deck to the west, and Downtown Green Bay to the east,” notes Mark Chambers, AIA, CDT, LEED AP, ISG Principal and Green Bay Office Leader. “These connections provide a tremendous sense of place and truly inspire our local professionals while attracting additional talent to the firm’s collective team of over 290 employee owners,” states Mark.

As previously announced in May 2018, ISG has been intentional about local growth efforts since acquiring Green Bay based Raasch Associates (Raasch) in September 2016. The firm, which recently celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2018, has grown its local presence by more than 40%, with the opportunity to support up to 70 professionals in the new location. Nationally, ISG is the 3rd fastest growing firm during the last three years according to Engineering News Record (ENR) and averaged nearly one professional new hire, per week, firm wide in 2018.
