The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals Announces New Online Retail Certification Course

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announced today the availability of its new online self-paced CRP Certified Pool & Spa Retail Professional course.

Designed for those interested in running a successful swimming pool and spa business, this eight-hour self-paced online interactive course gives students a strong foundation to effectively and efficiently run a retail business. It introduces the core principles of pool and spa operations and best practices for sales and customer service. Topics covered in the course include: pool finishes, pool and spa circulation systems, basic water chemistry, retail environment safety, customer service and sales and retail housekeeping.

There are no prerequisites for the CRP course. Students taking the course will learn about operations, safety and health, water testing, basic pool water chemistry. Those that successfully complete the course can take the exam either at regional or Chapter events, through a scheduled proctored exam or on-site at a regional event.
