Kim Hammonds Joins Scala Computing's Advisory Board

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Scala Computing is pleased to welcome Kim Hammonds, most recently the Group COO of Deutsche Bank AG, to our Advisory Board. She will help accelerate product execution and growth of the firm. Scala Computing is leading the effort in expanding the enterprise adoption of High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications on the Cloud, orchestrated by its leading-edge intelligent Scala Compute Platform (SCP).

Ms. Hammonds' vast expertise across four industries will help guide Scala Computing in both the near and long-term.

About Kim Hammonds

Kimberly L. Hammonds most recently served as the Group Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank AG where she was the third woman in the company's 148-year history to serve on the Management Board.

With a distinguished career spanning industries including Automotive, Technology, Aerospace & Defense, and most recently, Financial Services, Hammonds' leadership experience extends across product engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, purchasing, operations, and information technology.

Prior to her tenure at Deutsche Bank AG, Hammonds served as the Group Chief Information Officer for the Boeing Company and has also held executive positions at Dell Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Hammonds is a member of the Society of Women Engineers. She is the Founder and President of The Zoe Foundation, which provides art programs for cancer patients. She has actively supported the American Cancer Society, raising over $5 million for the organization. She was recognized by Crain's Business as 'Women to Watch' in 2011.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Red Hat, Cloudera, Tenable, Box and Zoom. She recently founded a company, Mangrove Digital Group, which provides technology and business transformation consulting expertise to Fortune 100 company's CEO and Board of Directors.
