The Revolution Factory Moves To New Home For Their New Innovation Campus At The Landing At Hudson Mills And New Partnership With Out Of Office Coworking

HUDSON, Mass., Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Revolution Factory today announced that it has moved to a new home for its innovation campus at the Landing at Hudson Mills in Hudson, Massachusetts and has formed a new partnership with Out of Office Coworking. The company will bring corporate innovation programming, an accelerator, a media lab, and an augmented/virtual reality lab to its new home in Hudson. The Revolution Factory chose Hudson due to the area's demand for entrepreneurial resources and skills training.

Previously, the Revolution Factory was located at Mill & Main in Maynard where through two MassDevelopment grants was able to incubate and scale nine companies and train over 300 entrepreneurs and small businesses in the year and a half that they were there.

"We are proud of the accomplishments that were achieved in Maynard. Hudson is a logical next step in transforming the Metro West landscape into a vibrant, innovative hub ready to support the retraining of skills that are needed for economic development and growth. The Landing at Hudson Mills and Out of Office Coworking are great partners in supporting and aligning with this mission," says Co-Founder and Managing Director of Innovation at the Revolution Factory, Ja-Nae Duane. Research, cited in the bestselling book, The Startup Equation, shows that by 2020 one in six people will be an entrepreneur due to the paradigm shifts occurring within the changing landscape of how we work. Duane and her co-founder, Steven Fisher, believe that building up secondary and tertiary cities are the way to support these entrepreneurs as this shift occurs.

Out of Office Coworking Co-Founder, Richard Banfield states, "Building and supporting spaces for entrepreneurs and makers to design, test and engineer their ideas is essential. Out Of Office Coworking is delighted to be partnering with the Revolution Factory to provide the space and the tools necessary for innovation to happen. By combining our community with a multi-media studio were makers can create AR/VR content, we're providing a platform for these creators to be more successful."

Hudson is in the middle of an exciting renaissance that has a positive impact on the Metro West area and Joe Freeman, one of the property owners of the Landing at Hudson Mills, knows it. "The Landing at Hudson Mills sits at the perfect location between Hudson, MA downtown and the Assabet River Rail Trail," Freeman added. "Our campus caters to businesses aspiring to be innovative, creative and connected to the broader community. We're excited to add The Revolution Factory to our community. With access to the River Trail, restaurants, food trucks, several breweries, and a creamery and Rail Trail CrossFit, The Landing is designed to support and inspire the best knowledge workers working to accelerate this economy."
