CACI Wins $61 Million Contract to Continue Support for Department of Defense Medical Logistics System

CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today it has won a $61 million contract from the Defense Health Agency Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center at Fort Detrick, Md. to continue providing systems integration, development, and sustainment for the Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS). This five-year contract represents both the continuation of current support as well as new work in CACI’s Logistics and Material Readiness market area.

TEWLS is an SAP® software-based enterprise resource planning application – the “backbone” of the system that Department of Defense agencies use to order medical supplies and assemblages for forward-deployed troops stationed worldwide. Under the contract, CACI will provide enhanced supply chain management capabilities to manage medical logistics.

CACI has a proven track-record providing TEWLS systems integration support. Since 2008, the company has continuously improved the system’s capabilities, security posture, and data integration, and reduced overall time to market for new functionality.

CACI President of U.S. Operations DeEtte Gray said, “This award to continue supporting the Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System recognizes CACI’s unmatched commitment to the Defense Health Agency’s mission and the innovative solutions and services we offer for enterprise resource planning and medical logistics. Our software advances will allow for more efficient medical care for servicemembers around the globe.”
