Based in Plano, Texas, ClearDB is a Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) provider that has deployed and managed more than one million cloud-based databases worldwide through its software platform, and is the world's largest private MySQL-as-a-Service provider. This announcement comes on the heels of RDX's acquisition of clckwrk, and is part of an aggressive strategic expansion of the RDX service portfolio.
