CERAWeek 2019: New World of Rivalries: Reshaping the Energy Future will assess the evolving trends of energy markets, the impact of government policies, the environment, technology, geopolitics and the global economy. 2019 marks the 38th anniversary of the event, produced by business information provider IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO).

The Innovation Agora @ CERAWeek will be the central hub of the technology and innovation program at the conference. The Agora embodies innovative programming and is powered by ideas. It will feature a community of thought leaders, technologists, start-ups, investors, academics, energy companies and government officials who will explore and illuminate the intersection of energy and technology that is reshaping the industry. Topics to be explored include e-mobility, batteries, quantum computing and 5G, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), additive manufacturing and more.

“A great wave of innovation and technology is transforming the industry and reshaping the energy future,” said Daniel Yergin, conference chair and vice chairman of IHS Markit. “What happens in tech matters to energy, and what happens to energy matters to tech.
