Keeper Security to Provide Infosec Administrators with Greater Ability to Prevent & Detect Security Events

CHICAGO, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Keeper Security, Inc., (RSA Conference, South Expo Hall, #1366) which offers leading zero-knowledge, cybersecurity solutions for businesses and individuals, including PC Magazine's 2018 Password Manager of the Year, today announced the availability of its new Advanced Reporting & Alerts (ARA) module, in addition to a number of significant updates to its Keeper Password Manager Business and Enterprise versions.

Keeper's ARA module gives infosec administrators a robust view of user activities, which can reveal a variety of suspicious patterns or risky conditions. Continuous logging of over 75 types of events provides the rich data needed for custom reports, providing a more focused view. The reports can be easily filtered to help isolate the most critical incidents, including by whom and where there was suspicious activity. Once revealed, administrators can then take action by adjusting access privileges and enforcement settings to improve compliance and lower the risk profile of the organization.

The ARA module's alerting functionality triggers notifications of the most critical security events, covering administrators around-the-clock and eliminating the need to constantly review reports. Alert notification frequency controls provide a variety of settings to minimize alert fatigue.

For the most complex scenarios, the module provides external logging of event data to third party Security Information & Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools (such as those offered by Splunk or Sumo Logic), so that behavioral correlations can be made with additional data sources. The ARA module feeds essential data to these tools to help reveal the most sophisticated and damaging attacks, such as insider data theft and sabotage.

Importantly, the extensive event logging does not compromise Keeper's zero-knowledge architecture, nor does it reveal the contents of users' records or passwords.

"Infosec administrators are often tasked with juggling a myriad of responsibilities, not the least of which is understanding where threats are hiding or could emerge," said Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder of Keeper Security. "Our Advanced Reporting and Alerts Module empowers administrators with enhanced visibility into activities within their organization. This new capability makes Keeper an even more indispensable component of our business customers' incident monitoring and response toolkit."

In other product updates, Keeper has unveiled a complete refresh of the Keeper Password Vault, giving it a modern, intuitive and streamlined design. With all of the same functionality users have relied on, the new version makes it easier to see and access robust functionality via a sidebar menu and sort, view or share folders, records and files. Keeper has also enhanced its Admin Console to include improved sidebar navigation and fully responsive design ensuring an optimal user experience across any device or screen size.

While exhibiting at the RSA Conference 2019 this week, Keeper is offering multiple cybersecurity and data breach prevention presentations and private demonstrations of its new services and features.
