Wiwynn Showcases Immersion Cooling Solutions at OCP Global Summit 2019

Wiwynn®, an innovative cloud IT infrastructure provider, today demonstrates its two-phase immersion cooling systems designed with Open Compute Project (OCP) servers to address the fast-growing power consumption and computing density while providing power and cooling efficiency, serviceability and reliability advantages. Wiwynn is showcasing an immersion cooling solution compliant with OCP servers at OCP Global Summit 2019 in San Jose Convention Center, booth #A12, March 14-15.

Wiwynn’s advanced two-phase immersion cooling tank eliminated the need for fans, heat sinks and facility air conditioners. It also reduces system failures caused by air, dust and static electricity. This allows lower PUE with higher compute density of up to 100 two-socket servers and provides a solution that air cooling cannot meet. With Wiwynn’s 48V technology and power pooling, it provides high power efficiency and optimizes energy utilization.

In addition, Wiwynn evaluates liquid from different vendors, motherboards and servers including OCP TiogaPass and Microsoft’s Project Olympus specification. Wiwynn has been working to innovative based two-phase immersion cooling solution which provides high performance and easy maintenance with lower power consumption.

“Wiwynn is excited to introduce cutting-edge cooling solutions compatible with OCP servers,” said Dr. Sunlai Chang, Senior Vice President and CTO of Wiwynn. “It addresses the challenges of fast-growing power consumption and density for cloud computing, AI and HPC. We are committed to provide data centers with optimized TCO and ensure the system performance and reliability.”

Wiwynn will reveal more details about the service-oriented two-phase immersion cooling system and management software at the engineering workshop sessions of OCP US Summit on March 15th.
