DMX University™ Opens Applications for Blockchain Technology Education

DMX University has officially opened its new DMX University website for accepting applications in Puerto Rico for its extensive blockchain engineer training program.

Dealer Market Exchange announced the launch of DMX University at the first Hyperledger (hosted by The Linux Foundation) Puerto Rico Meetup group event on December 6, 2018, along with a $150,000 scholarship to fund the program.

The program is designed to provide a career path for aspiring developers in blockchain engineering. Starting April 1st and throughout the month of April, interested prospects will be able to apply for either Level 0 or Level 1 career paths.

The “Level 0” program is designed for applicants who possess an interest in learning about Blockchain and Hyperledger, yet currently lack the prerequisite technical and coding skills necessary to develop for these technologies.

On the other hand, the “Level 1” program is geared towards active developers who possess degrees in computer science or software engineering, and have proven work experience as a developer, full stack engineer.

Once the application window closes, the evaluation process will commence, taking reportedly 4 to 6 weeks. Those selected will be notified of their acceptance to the program, along with the commencement date and any additional details.

“Our mission and commitment to Puerto Rico remains strong. Our team has created a program that we are proud of and that will help students obtain the necessary skills to be successful within the world of blockchain,” said DMX University Program Director, Omar González.

DMX University is aware that Hyperledger is routinely releasing new versions of applications across its framework. As such, the DMX University team will be updating its program routinely, ensuring it remains current with all the latest Hyperledger framework developments.

Dealer Market Exchange is a member of Hyperledger, a Silver Member of the Linux Foundation, and is the official organizer for the Hyperledger Puerto Rico Meetup Group.
