Intrepid Hires Michael France as Co-Head of its Investing Business

Intrepid Financial Partners is pleased to announce that it has hired Michael France as a Managing Director and co-head of its investing business. Michael will begin in July 2019 and will join Robert Cabes to jointly lead Intrepid Investment Management, which makes private investments across the energy sector.

Michael most recently served as Managing Director at First Reserve, the energy-focused private equity firm. He focused primarily on the origination, execution and monetization of portfolio investments across the Upstream and Midstream sectors and has served on numerous Boards of Directors of energy companies. Michael was a member of the senior leadership team of First Reserve and served as a voting member of its Investment Committee and a member of its Compensation and Promotion Committee. Prior to joining First Reserve in 2007, Michael held various roles at Lehman Brothers and Deloitte & Touche.
