SANS Targets Zero Day Attacks at Denver Cyber Security Training Event

The event features courses and evening talks addressing some of today's most complex cyber security issues. In addition to his evening talk, Hoelzer will teach SEC503: Intrusion Detection In-Depth. This course delivers the technical knowledge, insight, and hands-on training security professionals need to defend a network with confidence. Students will learn about the underlying theory of TCP/IP and the most used application protocols, such as DNS and HTTP. The knowledge gained will help students to intelligently examine network traffic for signs of an intrusion.
