Lifecycle Biotechnologies Announces Cellular Agriculture Expansion

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For decades Lifecycle Biotechnologies has served a preferred supplier role to many of the world's Animal Genetics and Animal Health companies. Based on Lifecycle's evolving customer needs and increased global demand in these industries considerable growth is projected for the coming years. To better support these industries, Lifecycle has devoted the necessary resources to expand its ability to meet these needs; today and tomorrow.

Prior to this expansion, Lifecycle supported these Animal Genetics and Animal Health companies through their Biopharmaceutical Division due to the similar processes these companies follow. To better support these Animal Genetics and Animal Health companies Lifecycle has established a new Division to better focus its resources. This new Cellular Agriculture Division includes Animal Genetics, Animal Health, and Clean Meat. Mr. Asa Yoakam joined the company as Business Development Manager to oversee this new division and its continued expansion. Mr. Yoakam joins Lifecycle from the alcohol production and distribution industry and brings a wealth of business development experience and an Agribusiness degree from Oklahoma State University with him.

Furthermore, Lifecycle has invested in its Colorado chemical, reagent, and media manufacturing facility to expand its throughput to be able to continue to support the evolving market needs. This facility expansion includes increased tank and mixing capacity from installing a new 11,000L reactor, additional cleanroom space, and a new automated filler for the companies CHEM+NECT family of products capable of increasing production capacity by over 300%. Through these expansions Lifecycle will be prepared to better support the expanding global growth requirements.

"Cellular Agriculture is in our DNA. The industries it contains have played a significant role in our growth over the years and we are thrilled to be able to give back by investing and expanding in order to support the many successes these industries continue to achieve," said Aaron Schieving, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Lifecycle Biotechnologies. "Through creating the new Division to better focus our attention, bringing a major influencer and subject matter expert like Asa into the organization, and the improved throughput gained from the manufacturing expansion at our Colorado facility, we are thrilled to be able to proactively support the evolving and rapidly growing needs of the amazing companies in these industries."
