Fort Behavioral Health in Fort Worth, Texas Receives Joint Commission Accreditation

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mark Schneider, CEO of Vizion Health, LLC ("Vizion") announced today that Fort Behavioral Health, a 133 bed behavioral healthcare facility located in Fort Worth, Texas received accreditation from The Joint Commission on April 14th, 2019.

This newly renovated, state-of-the-art behavioral health facility is housed in a former medical-surgical hospital located on a 12-acre site at 7140 Oakmont Boulevard in Fort Worth. Fort opened its doors on March 4th, 2019.

The facility has 5 separate, self-contained treatment units. Four of these units will provide specialized treatment for substance abuse disorders including women with trauma, adolescent, and adult male, as well as a 15-bed medically supervised detoxification unit. In a separate wing comprised of 40 beds, Fort Behavioral will also provide residential treatment services for autistic children ages 11-17 years. Dr. David Henderson serves as Fort's Chief Medical Officer.
