Another Gated Community Contracts Techpro Security Products to Install New Technology in Perimeter Security
BOCA RATON, Fla., May 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- One challenge facing many gated communities is how to protect such a large perimeter from intrusion by criminals. While the entrances to these communities are often secured using a combination of security guards, security cameras and barriers, this is usually not the case for the perimeter. At best, the perimeter will have a wall, 4 - 6 feet high and not much more. The challenge for securing the perimeter is that in most cases, there is very little power or light available for the installation of security cameras or other technology.
Recently, Techpro Security Products, LLC of Boca Raton, FL, a security integration company decided to focus their resources on solving these challenges. They installed the first new Perimeter Security System in the Oaks of Boca Raton community. The installation was completed in October of 2018 and included more than 35 poles with over 100 security cameras which cover the entire perimeter and the main interior street of the community. These cameras include a combination of ultra high resolution 8 megapixel starlight cameras and military grade thermal cameras. The entire perimeter is monitored 24/7 in real time by Digital Security Guard which is a sister company of Techpro Security. The Oaks of Boca Raton quickly became the leader in safety and security for its residents.
Rio Poco of Boca Raton followed the Oaks with our second installation of a perimeter security system and today Techpro Security is proud to announce that they just began the installation of their third perimeter security system, this time for St Andrews Country Club, a gated luxury community in Boca Raton which boast more than 750 homes and 2 golf courses.
According to Brad Besner, Owner of Techpro Security, "This will be the most advanced perimeter security system installed for a gated community that I am aware of today. We are installing around 50 poles spread out over the 5 mile perimeter and at every main intersection inside the community. A custom designed monitoring station will be installed inside their main guard house which will allow them to monitor the more than 200 cameras that will be installed."

This project is expected to take around 5 months to complete. Permits have just now been approved and trenching for the underground fiber optic network has now begun. Techpro Security has a Florida electrical contractors license and handles all the work themselves, including solving power limitations by relocating or adding power to locations necessary to facilitate the installation.
