The Denver Post Honors Donor Alliance As Best At Making Work Meaningful, Colorado Top Workplace For Fifth Year

DENVER, May 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Donor Alliance, the federally designated non-profit organization that facilitates organ and tissue donation in Colorado and most of Wyoming, has been recognized as a 2019 Top Workplace by The Denver Post for the fifth year. The non-profit was also recognized as the Best at Making Work Meaningful across all categories.

The organization ranked 16th on the list of top small companies, and boasted a 92% response rate from staff with no participation incentives. The Top Workplaces rankings are based solely on the results of an anonymous employee feedback survey measuring several aspects of workplace culture including Alignment, Execution and Connection. The 16th place ranking is Donor Alliance's highest on record.

With a mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation, Donor Alliance earned the Best at Making Work Meaningful designation by scoring highest on the question "My job makes me feel like I am a part of something meaningful."

"Our employees are truly committed to our mission of saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation, and that was certainly conveyed through the survey," said Sue Dunn, president and CEO of Donor Alliance. "Colorado is home to a number of wonderful workplaces and we are honored to be counted amongst them for the sixth year in a row."

A recognized leader in organ and tissue donation, Donor Alliance fosters a mission-driven culture through its core values: Integrity, Leadership, Excellence, Accountability and People First. In addition to traditional employee benefits like wellness programs, tuition and health club reimbursement and a charitable contribution program, the organization offers employees something much more extraordinary: the opportunity to help save lives every day.

In addition to achieving Top Workplace status for the six consecutive years, Donor Alliance won the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award as well as Quantum's Employee Voice Award, honoring organizations for outstanding work in employee engagement, in 2018.
