New North Hosts Event Series Focused on Community Education

FREDERICK, Md., May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Local marketing agency New North recently launched the Frederick Business Academy, an event series that teaches local organizations about different facets of marketing, sales, and business development free of charge.

The Frederick Business Academy was the brain child of CEO Tobin Lehman. Part of New North's mission has always been to give back to the community through various activities, including working with Habitat to Humanity. After New North moved to a new office on South Carroll Street, Lehman decided to use the space to give back to the Frederick business community. The Frederick Business Academy was born as a way to help local businesses succeed and grow the downtown Frederick community one educational event at a time.

Each month the Academy hosts one roundtable and one seminar, at least one of which features a local business or subject matter expert. So far, the events have focused on a wide variety of topics, from Instagram tips to optimizing lead funnels to operational strategies for businesses. While roundtables focus on group discussion, seminars are larger, presentation-style events. Seminars give local professionals a chance to feature their business at the Academy, while also giving back to the community through knowledge-sharing.

New North is a marketing agency that focuses on helping B2B technology firms find opportunities for growth.
